TABLE BLANCHE AT THE FASHION MUSEUM ANTWERP
In 1996, Bulo gave Belgian fashion designer Ann Demeulemeester the total creative freedom to design her ideal workspace. This invitation became part of our Carte Blanche collection and from it came a truly unique piece: the Table Blanche.
Nearly 30 years later, this timeless design is being celebrated once again, now on display at the MoMu Fashion Museum in Antwerp, as part of the exhibition “Fashion & Interiors: A Gendered Affair”, running until August 3, 2025.
When Ann Demeulemeester designed the Table Blanche, she didn’t want a traditional desk full of drawers or distractions. She wanted a space that felt pure and clean.
The result was a large, all-white blank canvas. Elegant in its simplicity, powerful in its silence. It represents a clean slate. A place to think, to breathe, and to create.
