ABOUT PROJECT

Bulo at the Predikherenkerk

The Baroque Predikherenkerk monument: a true architectural gem

Built in 1729, the church experienced four distinct phases and fulfilled several purposes throughout its history. Its renovation started in 2020 and ended only a few months ago. What was once close to a ruin has now been fully restored to its former glory.

Repurposed for a new life, the redesigned Predikherenkerk is now a cultural hub, offering endless possibilities. It hosts cultural events, conferences, meetings, and provides a space for artists. Additionally, the church will act as an extension of the adjacent historical library.

The VVD Bistro Chair designed by @vincentvanduysen was chosen as seating element in this unique venue. Its sleek, minimalist design perfectly complements the Baroque setting of the church. The green-grey color harmonizes beautifully with this historic environment.
Whether as chairs or barstools in the foyer, or as upholstered seating in the auditorium, they offer exceptional comfort and elegance to all visitors.

The Predikherenkerk seamlessly blends the past and the present.
